Together we are a community of believers. What does that mean, the word community? We believe that together in fellowship we grow closer to God and one another. The Bible speaks about iron sharpening iron. We believe that together we grow stronger.

We strive to be a church without walls. Jesus calls for us to go outside the walls to reach the lost and the broken. It is there that the lost will be found. Most churches find it is comfortable to stay within the walls, but we make it an effort to be like the church from the book of Acts, to see our city changed.

We highly value our relationships with one another. We look to grow through fellowship, and ultimately growing closer to God. We value the word of God, and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We look to extend grace to all of the lost and broken, and lead those with no hope to the hope of Jesus Christ.

APOSTLE QUINTON HURDLE is a native of Chesapeake, VA. He was licensed and ordained in June 1995 and has served as Ministry Leader for the past 28 years. Pastor Hurdle and his wife, Pastor Melonie are the founders of Gospel of the Kingdom Ministry, Inc. and Gospel Tabernacle Ministries Outreach, located in the city of Virginia Beach, VA. Pastor Hurdle holds an earned Pastor's Psychology Certificate from the United Christian Institute. He also served as the President of Independent Fellowship Ministries (I.F.M.) for the past 15 years. Pastor Hurdle and his wife have been marred for 25 years and are proud parents of 6 wonderful children and grandparents to 5 beautiful grandchildren.

PASTOR MELONIE (MEL) HURDLE answered God's call into the ministry in 1996 as a missionary. However, she was licensed and ordained in February 1999 as an Elder. She holds an earned Associates of Applied Science Degree in Human Services from Tidewater Community College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Leadership with a concentration in Psychology. In addition, she received a Certified Certificate at the prestigious Foundation of Faith Institute (Emerging Leaders) from Gethsemane Community Fellowship Baptist Church. Pastor Mel graduated with a Certificate from the Norfolk Police Department Citizen's Police Academy and received a certificate for participating in the Norfolk FBI's Community Relations Executive Seminary Training. In addition, Pastor Mel. graduated with honors with a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Global Business and Communication at Regent University.
